Dear Unleashed team,
I have a new design for OXE with specifications (400 analog extension , 48 digital extensions, 20 analog trunk, 2 T2 ISDN trunk)
should I go to common hardware or crystal hardware offer ?
Is their any design recommendations from Alcatel side for choosing crystal hardware or common hardware.
Thank you for your support

Re: OXE common hardware vs crystal hardware
the above design can work both OXE crystal hardware or OXE common hardware.
I want a document that support this matter.

As said, Actis is your friend. The document is generated there and technical background is on system documentation

Re: OXE common hardware vs crystal hardware
Just configure both hardware - compare price, required space in cabinet etc.
For 400 analogue extension (especially with long line) - I prefer crystal hardware.
But if site - big building with many floor - with common hardware you can install IP media gateway on each floor.
So - not easy to give good advice.

Re: OXE common hardware vs crystal hardware
I was in a same situation few months back and I opted for Common HW.... It was cost-effective compared to ACT and easier to manage... Only drawback i felt was the need of Patch Panels to connect PBX and User side MDF.... with ACT, you can use the cables and terminate extensions directly on wall....
