we got:
- Domain network using windows 2003 server and win xp sp2 clients
- Alcatel OmniPCX L with a lot of phones connected Rel 4.1
we want:
- every employee should use Pimphony 5.1 for dialing from outlook and manging their phonelines
i made:
- installing TAPI 2.1 Alcatel addon for windows 2003 server
- configured it, it has connection to the PBX
- configured the lines
... here my first problem...
I dont know how to handle with this "Central Services" Tool delivered with our old Pimphony, do i need this? if yes where to install? on every client? on the server? its not clearly told in the manual
I think it is installed on several clients in further tests with our old OmniPCX Rel 2.1.Everytime i want to install PIMphony for Tapi 2.1 he asked me to logon to central services using a phone number and a 4 digit password. Is this the pass the user have to configure on his mailbox?
questions over questions ... can anyone give me a detailed way where to install what that everyting works fine? this would be great ... i´m really confused now ...
