Upgradation from Ux 5.0 to Lx 9.0

Hi Dear all,

I have an upgradation of 4400 crystal hardware rel 5.0Ux to latest rel 9.0. Can I directly load the mao backup file from rel 5.0Ux to Rel 9.0 and It will do all the database translation perfectly, or I need to do the database translation by release by release?

First you need to do 1st step upgrade from Ux to R5 Lx.

But it would be better to read the install notes that are issued on the BPWS with the software. It will tell you exactly how to perform such a transition

Yes, you can translate database from 5.0Ux (or later) to 9.0 Lx
I make recently migration from R2.1Ux to R8.0Lx.
