Enterprise - PCX self reboot with GD failure

Have a Enterprise - PCX which over the past week calls a reboot with no user input, then following the reboot the GD will not download the binaries from the CS. The GD errors out stating 'file corrupt or not found'.

Then for no reason, after several manual reboot attempts the system comes back to life. Any thougths????

Hi Rob,

We found on a site a funny trouble: The GD would reboot VERY frequently with no user input. After a week of investigation, we finally found that it was because of the V24 cable that comes with the CS. We just changed it, and it worked... Don't ask me why.. A guy from Alcatel told me to explain what did we do before the reboot 'step-by-step'.. Well, I told him "we unplugged our laptop, and..." and he told us "here you are.. change the V24 cable" ...

I had the same problem, plugged into system & it reset

(twice)

Found the same thing, there is 2 pins that neede to be swapped in the V24 cable
