4740 problems

Hello. I have a problem with corrupted database. Have anyone any answers?
I tried to rebuild it with: RUN: c:/nmc/bin/rt32w -d c:/nmc/bin/ac5base.db, but it's not working. Any suggestions?

do you have any backups? 4760 backup?
pls update with release and version of your software..

Check the subject. It is about 4740 which has been phased out ages ago and not supported almost for a decade.

You can have problem with database if file very big (what size of db file and which file system used on your PC - FAT32, NTFS?)
And what about free space on your HDD (for working with DB you need free space 2,5xDB_size).

I asked him to provide the release and version of the software for more clarity..

The problem was solved. New installation and older backup. that was all that helped.

That was always the solution for 4740 db corruption (or at least the only one that I know - this happenned quiet often as I remember).

Hi, I have the same issue.
Is there any tool that can be used to read that data? The data is 2Gb. We need the information for accounting purposes.
And please advise on the steps for new installation.
