Personally I am no expert of Hotel application, but I have been asked to look at this problem.
A fellow technician has configured Accounting (duration method) on OXE and says that when a guest checks in, makes some calls, then checks out, the info is not being sent to AHL Front Computer.
Has anyone any experience of this? Is there suppose to be some special configuration in the OXE? Rel is 8.0.1 patch 17b
I have tried search but seems like pple have had different problem.

Hi Knight,
1. Make sure in Accounting > review modify > under Front office computer parameter.. check filter area outgoing pcx calls are addes or not...
2. Default in hotel trunk groups are not charged...so hope ur technician is created charge scales and duration and management hours...u have to activate trunkgroup charging
Accounting period > descend > trunk group accounting period > review modify and change it to the trunk group " At end of call ".
3. Under hotel parameter
Hotel > Descend > Computer link > review > under transmission parameter " All cost cdr and room cdr & room status tickets are true...
Check out above parameters, if u still have the problem get back to us...

You can get tickets from PBX in AHL in the same way as real time accounting. AHL must take into consideration this thing. Can you detail the config knight? What kind of AHL? Does the AHL support accounting module or the accounting must be done in the PBX?

thx Sera544 for all that advice, I'll try and check it all out.
tot3 - it is a Visual One system and as AFAIK it is expecting accounting to be performed by the OXE. I'll try and get some config details when I go to site which will not be until next week tuesday & wednesday.
