Translate ISDN PRA number to internal

Hi all,

i'm kinda newbie on OXO.
now i having problem with ISDN.
i cannot translate my isdn number for instance: 23556000 until 23556010 to my MLAA tree 1 (551)
already did at public dialing plan
feature: hunt group
start: 23556000 (telco said they are sending full 8 digits)
end: 23556000
base: 551
NMT: Drop
priv: No
but it keep ringing the automatic attendant.

i have try so many ways,
and only found how to translate from internal number e.g.103 to dial to my mobile using his did e.g. 23556014
so i recieve 23556014 at my mobile so far.
but when i dial from my mobile to 23556014, i also recieve automatic attendant instead of ringing ext 103
of course i also add at this at public dialing plan

but still no luck.

This is not simple question for newbie.
First, for MLAA you don't need to add manually something in Numbering plan. This is done automatically, when you make configuration of MLAA.
Second, try to make simple call to internal Number, for example -103. Could you make ISDN trace on OXO? Then, you can see what exactly numbers sent to you your telco provider. Trace can be done by means of OSC tool in OMC. You can read about it in TC1093, of course, if you have it. And one more question: how you make Automatic attendant?

yes, sir.
this is not simple at all.
i never do isdn, acd or mlaa before on OXO.
i'm more familiar with OXE sir.
but guess what, sales people also sale it.
so we got no choice, aren't we

oh..i see we don't have to set anything but i do have to set it for the restricted dialing plan right?
since i'm using it for closing hour too.

there's the things sir,
i don't know how to set so that we can recieve incoming call from my mobile,
let's say i dial one of the isdn number e.g. 23556214 to ext 103.
i only can do this:
from ext 103 call to my mobile and receive 23556214 (this number)
i set it from user > misc > alternate clip.

other than that, i have no idea on how it suppose to be in the configuration.

i also try the trace stuff,
i connect to pbx,
go to isdn menu, set the parameter on slot 7 access 1 (don't know what to set on access actually)
and go to trace extraction and click set traces.
but even after i make incoming and outgoing call to and from outside,
it doesn't print anything,
just blank.

i don't have TC1093 yet,
i'll try to search after i sent this.

In addition some MAIN things in MLAA.
MLAA Setup: here you declare relation between your DDI number and MLAA Hunting Group (remember this number of MLAA Hunting Group, you need this later). After modification this appears in Public Numbering Plan.

MLAA Services \Options \Time ranges: here you NEED declare time ranges.
After that, you make your trees.

MLAA Services \Options \Channel parameters: here you declare relation between your application and Called no. ending with (you MUST declare here number of MLAA Hunting Group from MLAA Setup, and Not a part or whole DDI number).
That's all.

Make trace on E1 using OSC tool. It is obvious that TELCO isn't sending you 8 digits. It just requiers you to send him 8 digits. There are TELCO configs in which they send you let's say 4 digits and require from you 5.

i have try the OSC trace, (read TC1093 while i'm doing it)
but haven't succeed yet.
i have try as following:
first, connect to pbx (succeed)
second, at trace extraction, i click start. i got a pop up window (still ok)
then i go to isdn menu, choose slot 7 access 1 (same as OXO)
and i click set traces (so far correct, right)

and then i make outgoing and incoming to and from outside and inside.
but the pop up window doesn't tell me anything,
it still white blank from the beginning.

Please do advice.

i already succeed calling from outside to incoming DID and translate to an extension now.
but it still have issues when assigning DID numbers to MLAA hunt Group.
it doesn't translate to automatic attendant anymore,
but cannot reach MLAA either.
The phone keep ringing at the caller point of view but no one or nothing pick up (doesn't ring any called party).
Please do advice.

Hi All,

It works now.
it turns out that for ISDN line has a little different.
we have to set full isdn digit e.g. 23556200 for the ending number in MLAA line parameter to application 451 mlaa tree 1.
same as in public dialing plan start & end 23556200 while base is mlaa group 1 which is 551 (like we set in mlaa setup).

if we want to make other number e.g 23556201 to that mlaa group too,
just add 23556201 for the ending number in MLAA line parameter to application 451 mlaa tree 1 and so on.
also don't forget to set in public dialing plan start & end 23556201 to base 551.
