TA Problem

Hi,

Im experiencing a problem with activating 4059, when I plugged the UA line to the TA the led will blink once and one beep sound after that when we check the physical address the port is out of service. I tried to refresh using he_dow_tuner tool error "can't download terminal (not present)" prompt suddenly shows. Does the TA already screwed? Or still there are still ways to restore the settings?

is the TA connected via a phone or are you using it standalone directly to a UA port?

Check the wires. Try to connect the even pair only.
First of all the UA port must be shown in service.
Can you post a listerm for the UA card?

The TA is directly connected to UA port, when I check it using listerm command the physical address is still OUT OF SERVICE.

As far as I recall if you are using the TA directly to the UA you need to change the jumper/strap inside the TA. (When you open it there is only one jumper) move this and I think this should sort you out ...

Same result if the box is connected to another UA coupler with a newly managed attendant set on it?
What is the type of the managed attendant set and what's written on the TA-Box?

Attendant was manageg as MAC 2 equipments. Here is the listerm status:

If you manage a UA set, is it working?
I'm a bit confused about the Y

Eliott my bad missed the 4059 bit just saw TA...

Well actually when I cross check Y is showing if I didnt pluggged the TA. A is only displayed when I check the listerm tool.I think the TA was busted. Is there other way we can re flash the unit? I tried the he_dow_tuner tool but it doesnt work. I also see incident number 4081 after doing the he_dow_tuner.
