Hello,
I have a client who is asking if it is possible to do a scheduled forwarding on an extension to an external number? E.g every Friday at 17:00 to forward it to an external number?
I am thinking of making the user's DDI go to an entity and use the time ranges there, but I have never been able to forward a call to an external number on an entity.
any other ideas please.

Your idea will work.... put a UA virtual in the entity CDT, and set the dynamic state of the user to the external number.
Option 2 :
do a scheduled import using the 4760.
1. do export of the users dynamic state without the forward, save this file as xxx_no_fwd.txt
2. do export of the users dynamic state with the forward, save this file xxx_with_fwd.txt
3. right click users and select scheduled import and fill in the setting for when the forward should be set and select the file xxx_with_fwd.txt
4. do the same for removing the forward (xxx_no_fwd.txt)
Option 2 is good if you need to do this for several numbers and several destinations..... your option is independant of 4760 so this is maybe the beter solution if it only concerns 1 user
