Alcatel OXE WLAN configuration
I need a help trying to configure an OXE system with an SVP server and two IP touch 310 sets.
I declare in the set the IP @ of the SVP and the CS, but when I turn on the set it shown "no SVP response" indicating the SVP IP@.
What is the meaning of the parameter "First/Last Alias IP @" in the SVP ?
Should I declare in OXE any parameter concerning the SVP ?
Thanks

Re: Alcatel OXE WLAN configuration
Yes and I have spend a good amount of time on it. The configuration of SVP is very simple, although I do not understand this Alias IP @.
Another thing is that when I check the access point log files, I see that OXE CPU is trying to reach the access point, but the password is wrong. However the access point password is introduced only in the IP sets, not in the CS or the SVP server

Re: Alcatel OXE WLAN configuration
It is necesary to declare the IP alias address in SVP, one for each MIPT. MIPT phones use their own IP addresses, but between SVP and OXE are these IP alias addresses used: OXE "see" the MIPT in these addresses. First and last IP alias define the range used, you will need only two.
Read about "pseudoNAT" feature in SVP.

Everything is under static conf:kike wrote:It is necesary to declare the IP alias address in SVP, one for each MIPT. - SVT 172.30.5.218
- Alias address in SVP: 172.30.5.223 (first) and 172.30.5.224 (last)
- MIPT 172.30.5.219 and 172.30.5.220 (I have two sets)
- CS 172.30.5.216 and
- GD 172.30.5.217
- Access Point (PROXYM): 172.30.5.225
Shound I configure something special (besides the information in the doc for R8.0) concerning the SVP ?
Thank

Re: Alcatel OXE WLAN configuration
Anybody know how to read the alias and private IP Addresses assigned on the MIPT phone?
Can it be done on OXE system or on SVP Server?
