Problems encountered with barge in feature in OXE

I am facing a problem barging into extensions who are in communication with another person on an external line.I only get the voice guide prompting me to dial 5 for automatic call back.On te other hand,i am able to barge into extensions who are in communication with other internal extensions.Please let me know what parameter i need to set to resolve the problem.

two options:

enable in catagories /cos "protected against barge in / intrude "this way set is protected against another set to barge in on his set.

or

disable barge function in cat. this way sets are not allowed to barge in on other sets

i have hecked the phone facilities category.I have given access to two phone to barge into other phones.It works fine when the set which has to be barged into is in communication with another internal set.The problem i ma facing is that i am not geting the prompt to barge into the same set when the internal user is speakng to someone using one of the external lines.
