Is it an OS6600 or OS6602? (1,5 RU or 1 RU -> RackUnit)

Question is important to answer yours - procedures are different.

The OS6602 has the boot interrupt jumper set - the OS6600 needs to be opened an properly "jumpered" most of the times.

In case you have access to the switch right now, please let us know if you have a "Press any key to interrupt auto-boot 4, 3, 2, 1" message on the screen while boot.

Thanks!

I have a 6600-48 switch and need to break the boot sequence. I do not see the "press any key" to break the boot. I have two jumpers J-34 and J-35. Can someone tell me how to set the jumpers to get the press any key prompt.

Attached is a procedure that I have used back in the day, I am assuming that you have found the answer, I am new to the forums still, but this atleast is something to add to your knowledge base, hope that it helps out. ^_^
