Network Congestion ?

Hi guys,

I'm having some issues connecting to my Voice Mail thru my IP Touch 6048 Soft Phone.

But dialling to other extensions and IP soft phones work perfectly fine.

Is there anything I missed out ? I have already configured the mailbox and also Voice Mail access for the IP softphone
extensions.

Can somebody explain what's wrong with this ?

Check under GA/GD or INTIP, if "Nb of Compressors for Gateway" is diferent then 0

I don't have the current release of documentation. The only documentation for the OXE system I have is Release 6, i'm still waiting for my supplier to pass me the release 8 documentation. And currently i'm off my office as well so I don't have the documentation with me unfortunately.

Can I find them from your site ? If can, I will download them to read.

I found the settins for No.of Compressors for gateway under INTIPA board, is the setting I need to change ?

Ok, got it work, seems to be the cable not plugged into the INTIPA card.

The settings I got most of it right, I assumed that the system can function with the IP SoftPhones without the INTIPA card.

IP softphones will work without an INITIP card only if you doesn't use digital sets or call to the PSTN, which is impossible on a real environment. INITIP cards will hold the compressors necesary for make the PSTN work with IP world.

Hmm, that's odd, the moment I took out the network cable from the INTIPA card, the SoftPhone doesn't work somehow.

Did I missed out something again ?
