Deleting a text message from a 4020 set

How do I do this? I know I need to press the envelope/mail key then the listen key to see there is a text message. But for the life of me I can not remember how to delete it from there.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm not sure. Have to try. Nothing written in the userguide?

normally calling the person who sent the text will cancel the indicator

Nothing in the User Guides indicating how to delete text message from a 4020, probably because 4020 can not get a text message. Calling the person who left the text message did not work either.

What did work was temporaily changing the set type to 4035, reading then deleting the message, then changing it back to 4020.

MWI and Envelope light is gone now.

Always worked for me.

Also, you can read from a 4020... but the key presses involves quite a few presses of the 'OK' key etc..

I will have to look into this further for future reference. Everytime I try to text to a 4020, with text feature marked as allowed/ture, my set says "Adress w/o mail, try another."
