open rack

any1 mounted oxe onto an open rack? due to space constraints in the server room, my vendor is proposing an open rack for the new oxe. any major concerns? tia.

If you order OXE with an optional 19" mounting kit, no difference for mounting - open rack or closed cabinet with 19'' frame.

I agree with vad. And the fan cooling better with the "lid" on.

If you are talking about the ACT-hw, there is no problem taking it out of the M2/M3 cabinett and mounting it in an 19" rack.
