8244 register to Gigaset base station

Post by jones »

I am trying to make the dect handset 8244 register to a Gigaset dect base station but with no luck,
it always show 'Registering' then fall back to 'Deregistered'.
Another Gigaset dect handset works fine, it is able to register to this Gigaset dect base station.

Refer to registration steps of official manual here:
https://www.al-enterprise.com/-/media/a ... b-1-en.pdf
Chapter 7 Registering the telephone
For the mobile telephone to function, it must be registered on at least one Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise or GAP system (registration operation).
Refer to CAT-iq Certified products here: https://www.dect.org/cat-iq-certification.aspx
8244 is CAT-iq 2.0 compatible so it supposed to be able to register to a Gigaset dect base station,
is my understanding correct or my steps correct?
Any insights are appreciated. Thank you :)

My environment:
Alcatel-Lucent dect handset 8244:
SW Version: 6184b0003
HW version: V5R3
DECT band: EU
MODIC Setting: 8242 MODIC
Frequency: 1880-1900MHz

Gigaset dect base station: COMFORT A
Gigaset dect handset : COMFORT 520 HX

Finally it works! Two steps are changed:
1. 'Access code' enter four '0000', which might be default PIN code of base station;
in early days always simply click 'Ok' for 'Access code' might be wrong and invalid access to base station.
2. Select '8244 MODIC'.

main menu could see DECT network0
