Exporting Switch Config Backups in Bulk

Hi

We use "Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise OmniVista 2500 NMS 4.9R1" and I'm struggling with exporting 50+ backed up switch configs in bulk.
The Backup Table allows me to select multiple switches but the "export" button is inactive. Only when opening a single switch and selecting a config the export button is active, but there is no way to select all config files for all switches and export them. Am I maybe missing an option in the UI?

It was then suggested here (https://community.spacewalkers.com/t/sw ... 500/6647/5) that I connect to the OV appliance using sftp and download the backups folder, however our Alcatel Partner/Reseller has told us that they don't get the the root login for this appliance.

I also tried using the REST-API but could not find any endpoint for backups (or even an official API documentation) so no luck there.

Any suggestions howto bulk export switch config backups in OV? How are you exporting your configuration backups?

you are correct: for the web-ui there is this stupid limitation. You have to open one backup and select the wished files inside.
For sftp (f.e. of the backups) direct from the server you don't need the root user (also the partner don't have that pw). You need the "cliadmin". The password for this was defined during the installation.

Allright thanks I found the password and was able to download the configs. Truly a stupid limitation for such a centralized config tool but oh well, guess we'll have to work with what we have.
