OS6450-P48 stack question

Hi there,
I don´t have any experience with OS6450 switches. But I got a task from my supervisor

We have two OS6450-P48 switches in a stack. Stack is connected via XNI-U2 module on backside. Both switch have a single fibre uplink port.

Well, my task is now to expand this stack and add another OS6450-P48 switch to the stack. The problem for switch 3 is now, we couldn´t connect the uplink port because all ports on the uplink switch are full. So my question is, when switch 3 become a stack member, does this switch send outgoing data to other stack members?

Hi,
yes this works. All switches within the same stack act like one "big" switch. So the traffic from any slot (this is switch 1...3) within the stack will forward the traffic via the other slots to the destinations.
