netmeeting call forward disconnect on OXO

Post by ptrenta_DUP »

My customer has 2 OXO connected trough H323 gateway inside a IPSEC VPN
in the site A we have configured 5 extension Netmeeting in ARS and all works well, the remote extension can call and talk inside the site A, they can take the external line and dial external numers.. but when they try to call an extension of the remote site B the call disconnect.. why? i have the dubt that the call cannot route 2 times in the ARS table? is there a solution to this?

thanks Paolo

What codec used for call between Netmeeting and OXO1, and OXO1-OXO2. May be you have problem with codec (f.e. Netmeeting-OXO1 G723, OXO1-OXO2 G729) and direct RTP?

the netmeeting is G723 and between OXO1-OXO2 the codec is in ARS table as "default".. but i think it should give trouble on voice delay.. i dont think in connection.. is it possible that i cannot route 2 times in ARS? because he netmmeting enter as 2th trk in ARS, then pass in private plan and route again in ARS to go to the OXO2..

the accesses VOIP and not are in Link category 12, as the subscribers
the trung groups are all in link category 2
the connection 12/2 is admitted
the join between the lines are all admitted
the transfer ext/ext is admitted and enabled also on subscribers
transfer ext/ext by oh hook is enabled

Maybe no more VoIP channels free? For how many IP trunks do you have license?
Also try to configure a single codec in both OXO and see what happens.
External Numbering Translation OK?

OXO1 (where connected Netmeeting) users can dial OXO2 users - how? - ARS, Speed dialing?
When NetMeeting user send number of OXO2 user - this number must present in Numbering Plan (f.e. OXO2 user called via speed dialling - this number present in internal plan OXO1, but if this number must be reached for NetMeeting user, this number nust be present in public or private numbering plan).
And check sharing and barring (sharing and barring number in IP ACCESS to sharing and barring number TRUNK GROUP IP).

Thanks for your question, and of course is what i have checked for first..
this is the condition:

netmeting 310-319-----> OXO1 <-----------> OXO2 <---phones 100-199
phones 200-299

OXO1 Internal Numbering Plans

secondary trunk group 100-199 ARS KEEP YES (subscr. oxo2)
subscriber 200-299 100 DROP NO (internal subscr.)
secondary trunk group 310-319 ARS KEEP YES (neetmeeting subscr)

OXO1 private numbering plan
Main trunk group 0-0 0 DROP NO (to call out from netmeeting)
Secondary trnk gr 100-199 ARS KEEP YES (to call OXO2 subsc from Netmeeting)
subscriber 200-299 100 DROP NO ( to call int. subsc fron OXO2 and Netm.)
secondary trk gr 310-319 ARS KEEP YES (to call NM subsc. from OXO2)

OXO1 ARS prefixes
priv 1 00-99 SUBST 1 TRGRPLST 2 DESTgateway static 192.168..(IP.OXO2) ..
priv 31 0-9 SUBST 3 TRGRPLST 2 DEST misc IP TYPE dynamic

of course the trnk grp list 2 is the VOIP trunk group with 4 VOIP channel

about the Link Category:
All the external accesses are in L-C 12
All the subscriber are in L-C 12
All the TrnkGroups are in L-C 2

The traffic sharing matrix of accesses 12 and trnk group 2 is enabled
there are no limitations on the barring tables

the external/external joining are all enabled

---------------------------------------------
OXO2 Internal Numbering Plans

subscriber 100-199 100 DROP NO (internal subscr.)
secondary trunk group 200-299 ARS KEEP YES (subscr. oxo1)
secondary trunk group 310-319 ARS KEEP YES (neetmeeting oxo1 subscr)

OXO2 private numbering plan
subscriber 100-199 100 DROP NO ( to call int. subsc from OXO1 )

OXO2 ARS prefixes
priv 2 00-99 SUBST 1 TRGRPLST 2 DESTgateway static 192.168..(IP.OXO1) ..
priv 31 0-9 SUBST 3 TRGRPLST 2 DESTgateway static 192.168..(IP.OXO1) ..

-------------------------
actually are working :
- the calls from NM to OXO1
- the calls from OXO1 to OXO2
- the calls from OXO2 to OXO1
- the calls from NM to external line (0) on OXO1

dont work:
- calling from NM to OXO2

For example if i understant the way is this :
NETMEETING on OXO1 dial 100
1st STEP : PRIVATE PLAN Secondary trnk gr 100-199 ARS KEEP YES
then
2d STEP : ARS priv 1 00-99 SUBST 1 TRGRPLST 2 DESTgateway static 192.168..(IP.OXO2) ..

-------the system disconnect

instead from an internal subscriber
extension 209 dial 100
1st STEP : INTERNAL PLAN Secondary trnk gr 100-199 ARS KEEP YES
then
2d STEP : ARS priv 1 00-99 SUBST 1 TRGRPLST 2 DESTgateway static 192.168..(IP.OXO2) ..

-- the call goes OK
where is the difference?

VOIP is considered by my knowledge ISDN. If you compare you'll find many similarities (G.711 bandwith for example 64k for 1 conv = 1 ISDN B channel).
In OXE VoIP trunk groups are declared as ISDN T2 trunk groups with specificity IP.

Regards.
