ldap directory is synchronizing with 4400 but I do not want

Hi Guys,

I have a small problem.

I have manually created a user in LDAP directory and he, by chance, has the same name as a real user on 4400. I do not want the 4400 user in the LDAP directory.

After some time, the LDAP is creating a link to the real user. I do not want this to happen. I have disabled PCX Synchro in Directory > System > PCX entry

Why is this still happening?

Any help will be much appreciated as always

I'm not sure, if this will work - maybe the 4760-OXE sync will not work after this (can't try it yet):

Never do this. The whole synchro process will be stopped.

Better : Remove the primary link from your user in the LDAP directory. There will be no link
to the PABX name anymore.

I did this and the primary link re-appeared the next day

Try out the option = Disable PCX Directory Synchronization.

It is logical that it works like that. Omnivista finds the same name and thinks it is the same.
Try also to change the first name of the person that has no link to the Pbx.

You can disable it in Setup / Administration / Application configuration / Application settings / DirectoryAdmin / AutomaticCreation / Create for users ( OXE ): FALSE !!!
It means after synchronization of OXE you will see no users in Directory application.
