Anyone tried installing 8029/8039 on older release...10.0 and below. Will there be any issues?
As I know 8029/8039 are introduced in release 10.1 onwards..

Just can't, the model doesn't exist. Maybe as a SIP set standalone

Re: 8029/8039
what i mean is...8029 set as 4029, and 8039 set as 4039. I did this on a system r10.0. and it was running ok i guess, but
I'm just wondering what it will affect in a long run

You mean that the hardware was 80x9 series but the config in oxe was for 40x9series ?! may be yes but never tested it can work as they were tdm sets and we can do it for other tdm sets 403x 404x ;402x etc but unconfortable to use such as display is not same , programed key not fonctioning etc...
but for perfect use R11 is mandotary
