Hi All,
I have problem at my network. My 7705 router randomly unmanage and when I check at log, all OSPF adjacency are down but not the interfaces. Also there is no issue with pyhsical. This flapping issue make memory pools at LDP high and node cant be managed. But not all my 7705 router get this proble. I use 7705 SAR-8 version 5 anyway. Any idea whats wrong ?
Many thanks.

Re: OSPF flapping
Depending on which version of the Release 5 software you are using there are several fixes that went in before 5.0R11. Below I highlight a couple.
In Release 5.0.R1 and 5.0.R2, OSPF Route Table memory usage will slowly increment if there are multiple links with equal cost to the same destination. The incrementing memory usage could cause the node to become unstable. A workaround would be to set one of the equal–cost links to a different metric.
Starting more than one SAA CFM two-way-delay test in continuous mode that uses the same MEP causes memory pool buffers to be slowly consumed until the memory pool is completely exhausted, resulting in service failures. This is an unsupported configuration and should be avoided.

Re: OSPF flapping
hi
I have problem in my network, earlier customer was configured on Cisco router, in Cisco router his primary and secondary links were configured under one OSPF router ID. due to some other reasons we have recently migrated his secondary circuit in to the ALU router and in my network we are using ALCATEL SR 7750 series router.
after migration of his secondary link in to ALU router he is facing issue like Ospf neighbor is changing intermittently not the interfaces. Also there is no issue with physical connectivity.
can anyone suggest me what could be the reason ?

Re: OSPF flapping
You mean the OSPF adjacency is flapping between the 7750 and the customer CE router but not the interface/port?
What error messages are you getting on each side?
You are sure there are no problems with the MTU, for example?
