External call transfer to internal set rejected
External call transfer to internal set rejected
When I call from outside a DDI set and want to transfer to another internal set I get Transfer Rejected. If I call the same internal set and want to transfer to an external public number it works !!! And this happens with all digital and analog internal sets. A new analog set CAN transfer calls (new meaning configured exactly the same as a faulty set, but never used). Traffic sharing matix is unmodified, trunk groups and trunks have 1 and users have 1, so the connection is possible, no barring set, only 1 entity. All transfer options checked, joining, in-out,out-out.... even they are not related to internal transfer. Internal transfer between 3 internal sets works. The problem appeared after setting some pickup groups and dynamic routing level 1 destinations to othet internal sets. Upgraded from 8.1 to latest 8.2 with no luck. In other words : what forbids an external call to be transferred to an internal set ???

41 views and no reply? At least tell me that you never had this problem and you agree with me that this is some sort of database coruption. I am planning to manually reprogram the system, as I think it is not a normal behaviour.

Re: External call transfer to internal set rejected
Did you tried cold reset and restore of the database? With OXO sometimes it helps.
Re: External call transfer to internal set rejected
What is wrong with some of you? I am telling you about a serious bug and one is telling me that I should post pictures, like you get tired to read a detailed explanation ( this is not facebook, to just like a picture!) and one is just telling me that this isn't a serious question, like I would force you to stop and investigtae the find of te century! This is not help!
For some that care, I did cold reseted and restored the saved database, but I guess that database already had te transfer problem. First, the database was auto-translated after software update from 8.1 to 8.2. I should find an old database (min chanced) or rebuild it manually. I remember that last time I tried to prepare an offline database I had a lot of errors when loaded on the system. Is this supposed to work?

I did not work on OXO from several years now, however I remember you had a DB tool that you install alltogether with OMC. I would try to load the old database in the new OMC (provided you have installed also the latest DB translation tool --> cannot remember its name).lbanias wrote: For some that care, I did cold reseted and restored the saved database, but I guess that database already had te transfer problem. Also from past experience --> sometimes I restored a database several times in order not to have errors on restore.
Laurentiu, OXO has always been a bit frustrating with regards to some operations including DB restoration and translation, that does not mean that you should overflow this on the forum. Also you know better than anyone the escalation rules for ALU support as workaround.
Good luck.

Re: External call transfer to internal set rejected
did you try to make LOLA ?
If not do it. Install it from scratch. Then restore. If it is the same return to the release you were before .
And why you update the system from 8.1 to 8.2 ? there was a spesific reason?
By the way aggression is not helpfull and if this is argent for you , you can contact an alcatel partner to assist you.

good luck and be patient with alcatel infrastructure ...nothing is easy with alcatel
