Resource/Feature Keys - Supervision/Pickup/Local Call

Hi!

I was wondering if it is possible to have ONE resource key on digital phones that will:

• supervise an extension (if its in use, off hook, ringing, etc)

• act as a local call key (can call the extension by pressing the button)

• pickup a call from that extension if it is on the same pickup group

I ask this because my background is from Aastra platforms, and they can do this. I've tried on an OxO, but without success, maybe i'm missing something. I can program a key that can supervise another extensions key (Resource Key -> Supervision -> Destination/Destination key ), a key that can make a local call and signal (LED) when it is in use (Resource Key -> Local Call -> Dialing), and a key that pickup a cal (Feature Key -> Pickup -> Dialing)... but i wanted all in one key (for example if I see the LED blinking, i can pickup the call, but if the LED is off, I can call the extension).

Is it possible?

I am attempting exactly the same thing.
I was looking at the - Resource Key -> Subscriber Monitoring -> Monitored No. An extract of help file is - "This feature key is used to monitor 8 subscribers. Therefore, the user will receive all the calls intended for the monitored extensions if this key is validated. The subscriber is informed about the origin of the calls. Answering is done by taking the extension off hook or by pushing a resource key."

Yet to get hold of the Client to be able to test this. Your post has enlightened me in some alternatives.
