OTBE 1.0 installation

Post by morio »

hi
we have just got a lab OTBE with the dongle and the license. the factory installation was corrupt by me and some other engineer working here. the thing is that after few try outs i am able to install the OTBE fully with no problems, but when i run the oxevm and the vmManagement the parameters such as the ip addresses, dns names, server names are not the same as the values i have entered during the post installation procedure. i can re configure the vmoxe but its the windows server for the 8770 is the problem, when i modify the the server ip's and dns names i am not able to open the 8770 as its still trying to find the default dns as bics.company.com.

can any one help me in this one.
thanks...

So from the documents!!!!! did u do this the first time after you start up windows???

7.2.2 vmManagement post installation
a. Via the Virtual Machine Manager connect the vmManagement
b. Open a Windows Explorer window
c. Execute (double click) C:\temp\postfactory\postfactory.vbs
The virtual machine is stopped.
d. Start vmManagement again by clicking RUN
e. After restart, you are prompted to connect to the system:
• Select the ice user and enter the default password (Sdfghjk1)
You are prompted to enter a new password.
• Enter a new password with:
• At least eight characters
• At least one upper case character
• At least one digit
