Linux sierial connection

Hi All,

I want to use Linux to connect to a 4400, I am looking to only use Linux as my desktop. In windows i use reflections or hyper terminal via a sierial port. My linux software is Mandrake 10.2 beta. I think i can connect with X-Term?? Any help would be great,

Hi ..

If you want to use a serial cable, you have to use minicom.
If you want to use TCP/IP , then a regular telnet will work from the command line.
