Startup with OXE Common HW

Hi,
i'm new to OXE and can somebody pls. instruct me to how to configure an OXE common hardware MG step by step.
i have CS2/GD3/GA3/LANX -16 API8.

A good start for you is to download the System Documentation available on this forum and start reading.

first decide on an IP addressing plan.
Eg:
CS : 192.168.1.100
GD3 : 192.168.1.101
subnet mask : 255.255.255.0

connect the CS and GD to the LANX .connect ur PC to the config port of the CS thru the DB9-RJ45 serial cable.
boot the CS first. from netadmin assign the IP address to the CS.
reboot the CS . wait for it to come in service.

now connect to the GD thru the serial cable
it wil be booting, when it comes to awaiting user login, then login to the GD and go to root account , do mgconfig and assign the IP addressing scheme from this menu,
then exit, GD will reboot again and then it will download the binaries and stuff from the CS.

then both GD nd CS will come inservice... and ur system is ready to program.
