Does the Fax On Demand feature work on the 8450 Fax Server?

Cav, this was a feature in 4635, the system requests the receiver fax number from the caller and then sends the content of the mailbox. I'm wondering whether this can be done on the 8450 Fax Server. Have been searching the Sagem site, but nothing much on it. Do you have any idea? Cheers

I don't think so, at least not naturally...as FaxServer doesn't have any voice prompts and the architecture/integration is completely different you will need something else (like an IVR) to get that fax number and then send an email to the faxserver...

Well the IVR application can ask for a number to dial (DTMF input) and then create an email inside the IVR (send_mail(DTMF@faxserver.domain.com))

That's great info Cav, haven't worked on IVR before, well there's always a first time for everything aye. I will suggest this to our sales, I guess it will boil down to the cost.
