Activate Framing 40 ms on Media Gateways

Hi,

I'm a medium user of omnivista 4760 but i'm better in network administration and systems administration. I activated the framing of 40 ms for the codec G.729 and it applied fine to the IP4028 but all the media gateway still continue to use a framing of 20 ms (verified with wireshark). I use a system OXE in release 8.0.

In help, there is writed that the GD need to be manualy reset. I don't understand what i have to do. Can you explain me ?

You need to reset GD:
- switch off power button (wait red LED light steady) on GD board and switch on.
- or if you have telnet connection with PBX (f.e. GD in shelf 1 position 0) use "rstcpl 1 0" command for restart GD.

I prefer the telnet because i have 3 different location with GD. How can i be sure that a GD is in the "box" 1 ? Do you know the command to identify the different GD ?
