Flash on CO line - DECT?

Greetings,

I recently installed an OXO at a residence, for the purpose of roaming base stations and the excellent range of the handsets (Alcatel DECT 400 series).

Now the customer is asking "How do we answer a call waiting from the DECT telephones?"

I found a feature code *17 for flash/retrieve, but this does not seem to work.

Has anyone ever setup DECT handsets to be able to flash hook an outside carrier line? What parameters need to be defined?

Also I attempted to program a "Flash" key on the 4038, and recieved these errors:
8/17/2010 6:02:44 PM : Online restore ERROR: key data on user with key: - 94-001-01 Key UPK8 Action 0x52 - Bad parameter
8/17/2010 6:02:44 PM : Online restore ERROR: Read key labels on subscriber - Item 094 - Failure 0x3c00 -

So without this button, I will assume I cannot answer a call waiting from the 4038 either.
