Hi all,
Initial release : R7.1 (f5.401.27) and/or R9.0 (h1.301.34)
Final release : R9.1 (i1.605.12)
I've NOK status on the Remote installation of the xml result file.
Some package are not installed on the CPU80 :
- dhcpcd
- portmap
- A4400
- hpilotool
- throttled
I've the error message : ERROR: Some package of the system are not correct.
What are the consequences of this error ? Is it possible to upgrade an OXE to R9.1 from OmniVista ?
Do you have an idea ?
Regards,
M.B.

hi
4760 dont update oxe, but send version via ftp and use oxe pcxdownload command
so you don't have to care about using swinst or 4760
using 4760 has this advandage all your oxe update is tracked in the scheduler, interface is simplified compared to oxe
there is one important info about pcxdonwload
switch option (switch of partition) is performed only if oxe binary checksum is valid
sometime delivery package of oxe has invalid checksum ,
anayway
here some basic rule
for a major upgrade, perform upgrade without switch option
in fact you will have to change ops file and its better to have a telnet connection to see the switch result
for static or dyn patch you can use 4760 and ask for a switch
finally
there may be the checksum issue for i1.605.12 regarding the delivery for cpu80
if you have installed i1.605.12 by swinst, use the sw validity command in swinst menu to check if checksum is correct
if faulty
try next time to update to a later release of oxe
