remote access

Post by comerja »

Hello,

I want to access remotely my OXO. It has an indial number to do this. But in the OXO it is configured as an ISDN line.
I now want to use an analog PSTN line to remotely access the OXO. What changes should I make in the config of the OXO?
On which port do I need to connect the analog line?

Thank you!

Jan

You need to have a APA card for interfacing the analog line. Configure the new PSTN line in OXO and manage its call distribution to an XRA port.

APA = Analogue Public Access
XRA = Internal modem port.

good luck!

Is the analog PSTN line connected to the OXO or is it the line from where you dial in from? You need to have an analog modem 33k6>. Configure an DID nummer to the Rmote Acc.V34 Hwa 90-001-01. Now you can remote access the OXO.

Good luck,
Peter

OXO has a built in modem so no need for an external modem. Just manage the call distribution of analog PSTN line, connected to an APA port, to the XRA edn number.
You may test this by dialing internally the XRA edn number from any users extension..the internal modem would answer.
Hope this helps.

Just a quick question...
Are this configuration the same for an E1?
