call diversion doesn't work to external numbers, transfer works ok

Post by jola »

Hi,

It's the new install, from all handsets:
- I can call mobiles/external numbers
- I can transfer to mobiles/external numbers
- I can not divert to mobiles/external numbers (in example immediate divert to mobile)

All features and barring are configured correctly (exactly the same as on another working system, I checked every single option).

When I try to divert I hear female voice after couple of seconds saying: "you are trying to access the service to witch you are not subscribed". Is it Alcatel PBX saying me this message?
We replaced cisco solution with Alcatel one... and this problem didn't exist before.

Any suggestions will be REALLY appreciated.

Thanks
Jola

System Miscellaneous-->Feature Design--->Part 3-->External diversion type -->try joining instead of rerouting

probably the message is played by telco because they did not activate for you "path replacement feature" (rerouting the cal diverted and clearing the 2 B channels concerned)

Thank you. It was set to rejoining, so I tried re-routing and got the same message, we are going to get in touch with our telco and ask them this specific question about the 2b channels.

in the meantime if you have any other ideas... I'd appreciate any comments.

Try to make a trace on ISDN line using OSC tool and give us a complete trace of incoming call and outgoing call.

OMC R greater than 600.15.b-->Tools-->OSC or Phd (depending on release)

For OXO releases below 5.1 this will work only if you connect via serial and modem (not through ethernet) -works for releases 110/xx, 210/xx, 310/xx, 410/xx

Hi,

I guess the key here is: "Destination address is non-ISDN"?

This is the exact output I am getting when trying immediate divert to mobile:

Interesting. Can you post your configuration? (external numbering plan, ARS, joining) Is this a private or public trunk group? What kind of station is calling, what kind of station is receiving? (how are calling station services defined?)

apologies for late response.
Joining: everything is selected except analog/analog
ARS: we don't use it, it has factory default config I would say
External numbering plan: attached
trunk group is public
calling station is handest ip touch 4038, call is diverted to mobile number or speed dial number which is mapped to a mobile number.
Not sure what do you mean by services. I will attach feature rights.
