I am also having this problem. I cannot seem to perform a new install using PC Installer 2.26 with Windows 7 x64. It seems that the CPU is never seen by the DHCP server in PC Installer. I have confirmed that:
1. Windows Firewall and the firewall installed as part of antivirus suite are disabled.
2. Computer Browser service is started.
3. wperl, dhcpd, ftpd, and tftp processes appear after I have started Linux and Call Handling.

I have reproduced this problem on another system with Windows 7.

I have also tried with and without static addresses on PC Installer system. Does anyone have any ideas? Thank you.

If you just want to load a patch, you can use filezilla. Create an anonymous account and point it to the right drive...

Loading a patch works fine with PC Installer with Windows 7 x64. It's a new install that does not work so far. I have only been able to get as far as having DHCP work when starting PC Installer in Windows XP compatibility mode.
