Doorphone config
I just installed with 2 door phones using Viking E-40 series. They work very well, and come in many finishes. You will connect this to a SLI port and set it to 'Hotline' ring an extension or hunt group.

Also the Viking has a DIP switch setting to auto answer, so the customer can dial the door phone extension and announce to the door even if the button is not pressed.

Hi,
I've also connect a doorphone to an SLI port of an OXO which is equipped with fully IP Touch phones.
A fixed key is programmed for every IP phone to send DTMF code to trigger door release. MF Transparency is enabled.
The problem encounter is that the door release sometimes does not get trigger. However, I do not use AFU for my door
release control. The doorphone itself is equipped with the controller/dry contact, and triggered via DTMF code.
The supplier told me it could be due to the 'sensitivity' of DTMF of IP Phones. In such instant, PBX side need some adjustment,
if possible. Nothing else can be done at his end. And such sensitivity level setting can be found in pbx such as Panasonic, as he
mentioned, and resolved such problem. But I think the code is sent, as the door opening timer (5sec) count down start and release
my line after time out (but the door latch remained energised at times during the 5secs which should be de-energised). I tried with
other digit codes but did not trigger the count down except with the right code.
My question is : is there a 'DTMF sensitivity setting' in PBX? And what does it translate in OXO term? And how can I resolve such issue?
It maybe hardware fault which the supplier has yet to replace.
Thank you and Rgds.
