Root guard functionality

Hi guys,

I need to activate the root guard functionality.

In fixed ports it works in correct way, but I have only mobile ports and root guard doesn´t work. Is here any restriction for mobile ports? or anyother precedure for configuring it in mobile ports?

Hi,
i assume you use restricted-role? I don't know any restriction.... do you get an error message during config?
Have you flat or 1x1-mode? If 1x1 please try it with flat mode.
An other way is bpdu filter for user-ports.

Please note that per-default the "mobile ports" will revert back to a "fixed port" if they receive a BPDU.
