MyIC iPhone with Exchange 2007 - access to voicemail

Post by nowi »

Hi,

I’m just playing around with MyIC for iPhone.

I managed to set up the reverse proxy and most of the things are already working but I have a problem with the voice mail access from the MyIC on the iPhone.

It seems that ICS is using IMS component to connect to Exchange. So I enabled the IMS trace and I get an HTTP 404 error on the Exchange Server.

2010-02-10 11:56:43,038 WARN [RMI TCP Connection(105)-192.168.11.188] (ServerManager.java:362) - server 'Exchange' failed to initialize: HTTP 404 NOT FOUND mail.poc.local:443/VoiceApplications/Vmmc

I checked on the Exchange Server and in fact the no such directory configured in IIS.

VoiceMail:

Media Server: MediaServer
DisplayName: Exchange
http host: mail.poc.local (Exchange 2007 Server)
http port: 443 (has to be secure)
Voice mail number: 500
Mail Server Exchange
Transfer Server: empty

Configuration/ Servers IMS

SMTP Address: mail.poc.local (MAIL FQDN)
SMTP Port: 25
http host: otuc.poc.local (ICS FQDN)
http port: 80

So the request to the reverse proxy is forwarded to ICS and ICS wants to connect to Exchange via IMS.

Calling the Voice Mail from IPTouch using the Exchange Connector on ICS is working fine.

I guess the problem is IMS configuration in combination with Exchange 2007.

ICS version used is 6.1.000.100.b
