Amplifier
Hi besch
You will have to connect some form of amplifier to these speakers first, then you can use the Audio Out, Analog Trunks (APA Card) or Analog extension (SLI Card).
Audio Out needs nothing else, just connect to the amplifier.
With the APA card you will have to use a Public Address interface box that will provide at least 45VDC to the APA card (so it knows there is a trunk connected) and a line out signal to the amplifier. Give it a seperate dialling prefix for trunk group and new trunk group with that trunk in. While this may seem round-about you need to realise that there is no output power from the APA card, so you need to create it.
With the SLI card this is even trickier, since you now need a box of some sort that will "trip" the ringing current and also do Voice/Noise detection to shut off. These are specialiased boxes and a lot more expensive to design and impliment. You still won't be able to run the speakers direct due to the power, but some of these boxes include a basic amplifier for up to about 5 x 10W speakers.
If you have the Audio Out, use that. Otherwise go the method of the Analog Trunk since the box is something that can be made up/designed in a small electronic shop or even made yourself if you have some basic electronic knowledge.
Cheers

There is also an other way to have a PA-interface:
