Overflow on SIP trunk if no answer
Re: Overflow on SIP trunk if no answer
4=150
9=0
Retransmission number for INVITE
The default value is 2.
This value corresponds to the number of retransmissions for the INVITE message.
The OmniPCX Enterprise expects a response for two seconds before sending out again an INVITE message to the SIP trunk

Re: Overflow on SIP trunk if no answer
I had change the timer 4 value to 50 for testing purpose.
The number of retransmission was set on 3, I've set it to 2...
Same problem.
Maybe my OXE has a problem...

Re: Overflow on SIP trunk if no answer
Doubt it...it is configuration.
I guess will depend also on the answer provided by SIP, for example maybe forward is only activated under a 486 Busy Here but your SIP could be answering 480 Temporarily Unavailable. You should check that too.

Re: Overflow on SIP trunk if no answer
Hi,
Thanks for your help...
I've made some SIP traces with "motortrace 3", and it happens that nothing happens.
The call is ringing, but it's like the OXE never try to overflow.
I don't think there is a problem on SIP level, since it works when the callee is busy, but it doesn't when he doesn't answer.
So the problem has to be in the user's config, but in that case, why does it work with a local number or a VM number ?

Re: Overflow on SIP trunk if no answer
My system is not duplicated, it's a simple test platform with one CS, one GD and a MIX 4/8/4.
I've already tried to reboot, with no results.
The strangest thing is that everything works fine if I want to overflow on another phone set or on the embedded VM...

Re: Overflow on SIP trunk if no answer
Sure I can do traces, but since I'm still an half-newbie on OXE, could you please tell me the right command to get useful traces ?
