Tandem Dect

Hi,

I'm using a Alcatel 400, a glorious phone!
As an addition i would now use a Softphone with the same number, the solution seems to be easy - tandem.

But in trueth there are some problems.

My destination would be that.
Phone 1: Dect Phone, using while in company
Phone 2: Softphone, using while at home, connected via VPN

Of course my VPN-Workstation is not allways on, so it could never be the main-set of this tandem.
Sadly a DECT-Phone is not allowed to be the main-set of a tandem.

Is it possible to set a DECT-Phone as main-set?
Otherwise i as a single user would need a third directory number which forwards to both sets.
Three directory numbers for one single user would be worst case in my oppinion, before doing this i won't merge them.
Forwarding my DECT on no reaction to my Softphone is also a bad option in my oppinion.

Any solutions for me?

Well OneNumber solution seems to fit you but is not free and need a server and many licenses for integration, check MyIC for features.

You can create a remote extension with your cellphone number as well, license is needed.

If manage both set as not multi-line - you can create parallel Hunt group (but you will use third number).
You can route calls to first (DECT set) and manage set supervision on second set (if multi-line).

Well exactly what i've expected.

I gues the best solution would be a supervision, but i'm not quiet happy about it.
