Issue dialing out via VOIP solution from "sub-PBX"

Post by AndyK »

Hi There

trust everyone is well?

my scenario:
- I have 2x PBX's... on one the latest release 9 and the other on the latest release 10
- they are connected to one another via DLT2 cards on either side.
- the Main site (release 10) is the only site that is able to dial out via a traditional PSTN PRI T2 card interface (30 Channels)..vendor= Telkom
- The secondary site (release 9) dials out by making use of the Primary sites trunk facilities via the DLT2 card
- they both use the DLT2 for inter-branch dialling
- with the current PSTN network all works fine incoming and outgoing from both sites... DDI also works 100%

problem:
- client wants to implement VOIP solution... through gateway (to simulate current PSTN vendor) T2 card to VOIP gateway
- all works fine from the main site to where the VOIP gateway is connected.
- dialling out and incoming calls via DDI on the VOIP solution to the PRIMARY site works 100%
- incoming calls to SECONDARY site via DDI on the VOIP soultion works 100% however........ outgoing calls do not work

in my understanding, nothing should have to change on the configuration of the PBX's as the vendor is simply meant to simulate the current PSTN vendor, however this doesn't seems to be the case.

anyone have any ideas

Regards
Andy
