sip trunking by regestered IP

Is it possible to connect any other pbx with sip trunking by register IP .
If it is possible then please tell my the procedure

Sip trunks are not configured in avaya . Avaya engineer gives me user name , user id , ip adress .
For sip trunking with oxo.
How can be it done in oxo.

I followed the manual which you send . my system is registered with avaya , but not able to call each other.
