GD3 U Boot Error

I added a new Gateway address on a CS-2 then when i now try setting the GD3 (changing gateway) i get the U boot error and no login prompt.
I searched the forum and found that the LAN port of the GD3 should be UP e.g. connect to a switch port. This does not stop the GD, with or without the CS-2. Please help if you have a solution.

i have seen cs-2 not booting cause of the cabinet but gd3 not. Try to a different cabinet and see what happens..
