Hey all
This is the problem
OXE R9.1 and SIP Devices. Both CS on the same network, everything was perfect.
Now CS are on different networks : 192.168.150.1 for the first one and 192.168.151.2 for the second one
The SIP devices registered correctly but incoming calls SIP to OXE are dropped after 5 seconds. Outgoing calls OXE to SIP are OK.
If I go back to the old Netadmin, everything goes back fine.
I use Linphone for SIP devices. I have seen some posts talking about DNS. Can you help more ?
Regards
It's been a long battle, but we moved again our server to another cloud service, protecting ourselves from (sadly) Chinese IP Addresses, which would bring down AlcatelUnleashed. Hopefully, this is now under control. Feel free to contact us through the CONTACT US link at the bottom of this page if you have any question. Happy browsing!
SIP Outgoing Call dropped after 5 seconds
Re: SIP Outgoing Call dropped after 5 seconds
Remember that only ALU certified devices can handle "spatial redundancy" feature by downloading lanpbx.cfg file and using IP-addresses of CS's.
For 3rd party equipment it's a bit different - they do not support such configuration.
So if you want your 3rd party device or softphone to be connected to whatever CS is active then you need your DNS server configured.
First check TC 1180 - there a reference to a system docs that has a quite good chapters on spatial redundancy and DNS for SIP users.
