OTC IPHONE and OTBE R2

Hello,

I am installing a OTBE R2.0. I have to install OTCv PC and OTC ON Iphone. OTCv PC works fine.

I have some questions for OTC Iphone :

1- For OTC for Iphone, I know that I have to add a reverse proxy (Nginx in my case) but I don't know why? Can you explain me its purpose?

2- Can I use OTC Iphone without reverse proxy, only configuring ports redirection on the firewall.

3- How I configure the reverse proxy knowing that the public FQDN of my customer is different that the internal FQDN?


3- To access to the OTBE in mode 3G/4G with OTC application, can I replace the public FQDN by the public IP address?

If it is there is because is needed. Read Deployment documentation. Reverse Proxy is a must for NAT environments
