Call diversion on Oxo.

Post by davidrunciman »

Hello to all, i was trying to configure diversion on no answer, i'm using Oxo release 8.0
On the Dynamic Routing button, i use timer 1 and destination number, but the problem is this:

X ----A -----B

X calls A, A has a diversion on no answer to B
After timer 1, A makes the diversion to B, except A and B ring at the same time (A is supposed to stop ringing)

Is that the way oxo works? Anyone knows if r9.0 fixes this?
On the documentation, it doesn't say anything about a call ringing on 2 sets at the same time.
I forgot to tell that i don't use hunt groups or other groups of any kind, also there is no manager-secretary configuration on any set?
Any idea what's going on? Should i accept that oxo works like that?

Greetings.

If you use Dynamic Routing, after the timer 1 both sets are ringing.
This is basic feature in OXO, if the destination is an internal extension or hunting group number.

(If you want to stop the ringing on the first extension, you need a special ARS settings.
- Dynamic Routing destination should be a Collective Speed number.
- you have to forward this number to the ARS
- ARS: Prefix is the number which is coming from the speed dial table. Substitute is the internal number of the "B" subscriber. Trunk isn't a valid trunk group! In this case You have to select "local" in the trunk grp list.)
