Unable to change INSTALLER default password

Post by JBZ »

Hi all,

It's been a long time since I posted here.
I'm having a hard time trying to change the default system Installer password. I allways get a "Password rejected" pop-up when trying to change it.
(See print screen attached).

OXO is running version 9.1 and I'm using OMC 910 17.1a to configure the system.

Anyone ever experienced something similar? Any ideas?

Thank you all.

Maybe your password does not respect the new policy for password protection implemented in R9.1:
-total length of 8 characters
-at least one lowercase letter
-at least one uppercase letter
-at least one number
-special characters not allowed

Only the Operator password does not need to comply to these rules.

Hi tot3nkopf, thank you for your reply. I tried a password which respects that new policy that you mention I was able to change it.
