PC Installer DHCPD service is running

Post by tuxalize1 »

I'm running PC Installer on windows XP.
When I choose the option to load Linux+Call Handling, after fill all the options (Version, Country, network interface...) it gives an error "DHCPD service is already running in your computer, stop it...."

Does anyone have any clue what is going on in here ? If I run all the steps to load on inactive partition works fine.

Thanks,
Tux

Like the error says: you have another dhcp service running on your windows OS. Find it, stop it and try again.

I have checked Windows Task Manager and the Windows Services and no such service - dhcpd

check for Cisco or juniper services - if so, uninstall them and try again.
