System do not see CoCPU

Post by alliance »

Hi,
:?:
After doing a software download from R3.1/020 to R3.1/043 the Pabx has restarted without seing the CoCpu-2.
After having done several warm Reset and even cold reset the Cocpu re-appear by itseft.

Can someone tell me if they got these problems before and if the Pabx is restarted again what can be done if the the Pabx does not see the CoCpu again.

Thanks

When doing SW Upgrade (when uploading system) did you tick in LoLa or PM5 the Web and VoIP modules?
It seems that your system doesn't have these modules. If so open PM5 go to SW Download section connect to pbx and tick these modules.

That's what I have done and tried to do the software download several times with all the patches including Voip but still the same, the CoCpu does not appear on the system.

I think you came upon a release bug or something like that.
Try to work around it in a manner like that: Save your database in PM5 (read all from PCX, save as), open it in offline mode, mannualy declare your CoCPU on the correct slot, with the appropriate daughterboard (RAS, VoIPXX etc) and then connect for restore to your PBX.

This worked for me in a similar situation with a SLI8 board. Give it a try.

Regards.
