IP Redundancy question

Hi

I have two Crystal hw CPU and these are connected to seperate ethernet switches.
IP Redundancy is enabled, and if switch to Main CPU malfunction then after timeout standby CPU take over.

Question is if both ethernet switches malfunction, will both CPUs restart? Or will the system know that only one CPU is up so it should not restart?
